I had an early interest in art. In high school I had to decide to pursue art or mechanical drawing. I picked the later and could have taken a job as a draftsman upon graduation. Instead, I chose to go to college to pursue a career in chemical engineering. After graduation I joined a major research and development institute. During my 43-year career I continued my artistic spirit, and created diagrams, figures, and photographs to empower my research findings

In the early 2000s I began exploring electronic art using a Wacom digital tablet. I created many stunning images based on photos I had taken.

During the COVID pandemic I began to use my digital files as reference images for watercolor paintings. I studied with David J Rogers and completed the extensive course provided by the Watercolor Academy. As new technology has emerged, I have used different free AI apps to create and modify images to use as the starting point in my Art. I have joined numerous watercolor societies, and my paintings grace the walls of many friends and families. I now feel ready to share my artistic works with a wider audience.
